Hey, this is Alx, a part of the class of 2027, Alx goes by They/Them pronouns, and they are from Los Angeles California. Which they claim is the best coast because it has actual beaches. Alx is a First Generation, low-income college student also known as FLI. Alx is a special Major in Black Studies and Educational Studies Minoring in Engineering on the Pre-Law track. Outside of Academics, you can find Alx either hanging out with friends in Crum Woods or studying at the Black Cultural Center. Alx has several jobs on campus, one as a tour guide, one as an Intern at the Black Cultural Center, and one as a Student Academic Mentor(S.A.M.) Alx is a part of several clubs on campus two of those being the Swarthmore African American Students Society (SASS) and Students Of Caribbean Ancestry Club (SOCA) which hold the secretary position on the executive board. Alx is also an avid dancer and picture taker(taking pictures is how they navigate Swarthmore and the world at large.
